Silent treatment after hook up?

Recently a guy initiated contact with me on a dating site. We quickly discovered we had gone to the same school. He suggested we text rather than email back and forth. In the middle of texting he called and we talked for 2 1/2 hours. Two days later he asked if he could meet with me. Again we talk for over 2 hours. Two days after that I suggested we get together, which ended up being another two days after that. Deciding what we were going to do, we both admitted physical attraction to the other...yet agreed that neither wants any kind of commitment. We ended up meeting at his house, and "hooked up" three times during the course of that day. I left really late, when I got home he texted me saying he had a lot of fun and wished I could have stayed longer. The next morning I texted him about something funny that happened and we joked about it for about 30 minutes. Ever since then (been 2 days ago) I've sent him two different texts which have not been responded to.

Does this make sense to anyone else, because I am nothing but baffled. Up until the "silent treatment" we were getting along almost perfectly. What gives? And should I just call him and ask for an answer, or wait it out and see what happens?

as much as i hate to say it, the dude above has a valid point. guys who don't want a commitment, don't think about when the next time they're gonna see you or get to sleep with you. he put in the work to get you to hook up and now he's gonna be awol until he a) wants attention or b) wants to hook up again. you also may never hear from him again if he finds someone else. it sucks but it happens. clearly you werent honest with yourself or him when you said you didn't want a commitment otherwise you wouldn't be stressing about unresponded text messages

What exactly are you baffled by? You both stated you didn't want any kind of commitment (relationship) so what are you expecting from him?

He will contact you if/when he wants to hook up with you again.

My point is, for that whole week we texted back and forth throughout the day. He would talk to me, I would talk to him...now its nothing but silence. Something changed, and it doesn't make sense to me, because we both agreed that nothing would change. He, in fact brought up that point about 5 different times.

So before you hooked up he was completely different from after you hooked up?

And you can't think of what that something was that changed?
