What would you do if that was happening. If you want more of a story behind it then fine.

Say your crush/ an Ex you still love was getting married in two weeks to another person who seems like a straight shooter/ good and decent person, what would you do. They wanted you to join them at the wedding and you never told them about your feelings, what would you do?

I just got invite from my highschool crush yesterday. The wedding is tomorow...

For the first time, i feel heartbroken... sad and happy at same time. Big question is should i go?

She was my first crush, her smile melt my heart. Her kindness too. Confessed her at school and she just wanna be friend. I was hurt but happy to her friend.

I dont know if this common or weird, i have a lot of dreams about her. Mostly good one. At most she always smile in it. But of all, 3 dream that i always remember.
1. She was facing her back at me, then she turn her head and smile cutely at me.
2. She was in a mass crowd of people and everyone is blur but not her, she was standing tall among them and again she smile at me. (She's tall for teen girl IRL)
3. And this one hurt me, this time she facing with sad face and then walk away..

Weird thing is... these 3 dream relate to real life event.

In first one, during that time as a teen boy i see her as pretty and smart but there others prettier so i dont pay attention. I was asking her help for some stuff. After that i fall in love with her, still dont know how. Anyway after that, i always try to a look at her but too shy to do that and of course my classmate realise that. During break i was on way to cafeteria, she on her way back from teacher's room so she was walking towards me. I was blushing so i look away but curiousity got me and i make eye contact with her... she smiled at me! My heart melted maybe skipped a bit, my knees go soft and i was in love again. So i turn around to look at her again and there she was while walking away from me, she turned her head and smiled at me again. I was happy...

The second dream is common because every morning at 7.45 am there always *gathering* at school hall (for daily prayer, teachers speech and singing national anthem). While i line up with my boys classmate, i always say her among the girls because she was tall. And thats how i keep going to school... just to see her smile again.

The first two dream happen after this event. But the third dream happen before i know about it. It was a year later, normal day at the time. I sometimes call her to hear her speak and she like to talk a lot about a lot stuff. We exchanging smile too. Still too shy too. Already confessed and got friendzone but im okay with it. Then i got the dream.. it was strange so i was nervous to go to school but i did anyway.

Been there, done that. About three and a half months ago, my mother had told me that my old crush's grandmother had died, so I looked up the information on when the funeral would be in the paper, so maybe, after nearly 10 years I could go pay my respects and go see her. It was then I learned that she was married. I wanted to go the funeral just to see her but I also respected the fact that she was married so I just chose to stay away. I never would have made it anyway, it was a few minutes earlier than they had anticipated, and work was hell. But she was one person I couldn't ever forget. It sucked to hear that, but it finally allowed me to close that chapter of my life. Hope I didn't get too far off track-

This is happening to me right now. My friend is getting married to another woman in two days. Although we talked about our feelings for each other and got intimate I though I would find closure with this, but I still think about him all the time. He told me that I wasn't invited to his wedding because he would not be as happy as he could be if I was there. I totally agree. I would be sadder if I saw him marring someone else and I would never forgive myself if I take this moment away from him. We stopped communication until things cooled of a bit. Hopefully, if I ever talk to him again, we will both had closed that chapter in our lives.

If it was a crush, I'd say there are plenty of fishes in the sea, even though deep down I'd be very pained. I'd wish him happiness/congratulations and tell him what he's missing out on :)

If it was an ex I still loved, I wouldn't attend the wedding. I'd cut him and his wife to be out of my life.

I'd be crushed, but I'd know that to do anything to intefere would be a total d*** move. I guess I'd either send my regrets or go and pretend to be happy for them, depending on exactly what the nature of my relationship with them and the other guests was.

This takes me way back to 1985.

She dumped me for a guy much older.

I was never invited to the wedding. Mind you, she knew I loved her at one point.

If she invited me I would be jealous but humble. If it's what she wants then the least I could do is wish her well because I wasn't going to turn back time.

Out of the blue she called last year. Now I'm married to someone else of course and my wife was insanely jealous. She knew of my ex-girlfriend. It was no secret. My ex told me that her grandmother had passed away. The rest of her family disowned her, even her two kids.

She said she got her leg amputated, her husband was abusive and she left him.

Deep inside I thought, this never would have happened if you married me. But it was too late.Not that I had no feelings for her but it no longer mattered. I too found someone else and wasn't going to be waiting the past 25 years just for her. That is likely the last time I'll ever hear from her. It was good while it lasted, those two years. And she was the first girl I kissed.

But essentially I'm glad I was never invited to the wedding.

I'm going through a very similar situation. I fell hard for a girl in high school, but I moved away to college and nothing happened. Then one summer while I was home, we met up at a bar and ended up learning that we both had mutual feelings for each other and ended up having a fling that summer and multiple times while I was home, but it was very casual because she didn't want to get into a long-distance relationship. We both agreed that when I moved back home, if we were both single, we would try and see if a relationship was possible. Well, she ended up getting knocked up by a guy before I moved home, and they got married when she found out she was pregnant. She still flirts with me and wants to see me anytime I am home, which is very confusing and tough because the feelings I have for her are still very strong, and as far as I can tell always will be.

My advice is to do what you can to be happy, and try to avoid her as much as possible. Seeing her and her fiance/husband would only serve to reopen a healing wound. Sure, divorces are common these days and you never know what might happen in the end, but you don't want to find yourself avoiding happiness because of the nagging feelings you have for someone who is in a relationship that may last for the rest of their life. Try to do things that make you happy, go out with your friends, and date other people. You may well find someone that makes you truly happy without even meaning to. You have to live life one day at a time and try to move forward, or you'll end up miserable. Life is a journey, and all too often it is a long and painful one, but all we can do is continue to forge into the great unknown in search of happiness.

im going through this right now... the love of my life... after 17 years of dating on and off, i lose touch with her, and i spent several months trying to find her. when i found her, she moved from North Dakota to Texas, had a new last name which i found odd. i requested her on facebook... only to find she is married now and has a child. she keeps hinting to me in metaphors that she still loves me and is emotional about everything still. i find it extremely hard to talk to her or reply to her at all, but when i do i try to stay positive, i dont mention the fact that she's married or has a child, but occassionally i will still comment on her pictures saying she is looking "lovely" in the most politeful way i can think of really. I've honestly been wrecked and depressed about all of this. my life has been horrible lately and i could really use the smiles she used to give me when things got tough. but maybe it was ment to be this way...

Probably not attend because I would be too depressed and sad about it. I wouldn't tell him how I felt because honestly it wouldn't make a difference at least I don't think so.I guess I'd just have to live with it and be happy for him time heals all.

But I was in similar situation the guy I loved got another girl pregnant while we were talking worst thing ever.All communication stopped once I found out about it, I think about him once in awhile but can't do much about it either.

Well, happened to me today. had this girl that i liked for a long time now, got married a few days ago, wasn't invited. things were never gonna happen, i knew but still you kinda hope some thing might change :(
heard the news and surprisingly enough, i didn't feel anything, maybe i have truly moved on and under stood what love really means, it is love only when it is both ways, otherwise it is plain old sucking :P life goes on.
