There was no lying or cheating involved.
They left on good terms.
Should you EVER try again with an ex? Why or why not?
Personal experience welcome =)
That really depends on how attached you are to them.
I would have taken Christine back (1984-1986) if she had asked me.
But I wasn't going to wait forever either. She said her husband was abusive to her (the guy she left me for) and ended up divorcing him. But... I moved past that and met the love of my life.
I'm not going to be with anyone else. Christine had her chance with me.
I tried, oh how I tried. Nope. I wasn't good enough. Nope nope nope nope. Why should now be any different?
Trying again with an ex is worthless, because it will always be destined to end badly, that's the reason you split up, you couldn't let a simple problem go, and unless its betrayal, there's nothing that should split a solid relationship up, so by splitting up, you know that your not meant to be, and that it won't work, so why go through all that again, your supposed to mature after every split, and move on, not move back and take the lesson again, that's like repeating school after leaving, crazy idea,x

If your ex dumped you and you give them a second chance...
You give them the reigns of power over you, again! They will be in control! You'll be inferior!
That's not really a relationship based on equality!
And if they dumped you once, they could do it again!
It doesn't matter whether or not they broke up in good or bad terms!
If person A dumped person B, and regardless of who insists to get back together, the dumper will have the upper hand anyway!
If they want you back, then definitely. If they ask you, then they definitely want you back, and feel miserable without you. They know that they made a mistake, and want to try fixing it.
Though if it's you wanting to try again, and not sure if they do or not, then don't push it. It may just get annoying and actually ruin any chance you have of even being friends.
No, once someone dumps, rejects you don't ever give them that chance to do it again. I learned that the hard way & live by that rule & will never give them a chance again. No matter how much you like them or want to it's not worth it.
It all depends, if they desereve even a SECOND THOUGHT!
But if you guys ended because of bad timing and on good terms why not...its a good possibility it will work
