My crush looks at me, but does not talk to me, what does he want out of it?

My crush will look at me very frequently, which is nice, but he's never made an effort to talk to me. He will even go out of his way to look at me, even if it takes effort to just look at me.. But he won't talk to me! I have shown obvious interest back, so what is there to lose?

Why hasn't he made the effort to talk to me at all?

i am in the exact same situation too , but the thing is I did go and talked to him but nothing interesting happened from there it was a casual talk , and every time I past by him I always have to start the conversation ,! so maybe your crush is different from mine , go & talk to him you will feel soooooooo much better and see how it goes , but don't go and say "Hi I really like you can we go out !" he will runaway and never look at you again , just be nice the first time you talk to him , casual talk and see how things will go from there , but before you go to him prepare at least 3 short question but with long answers not the Yes or No question bcz that will shut the door on your conversation smile and look at him in the eyes ...and be shur to look your best and don't be flirty the first time.. let us know , good luck

im going through the same thing when i talk to him we never get past hey how are you and I always have to start the conversation but he looks at me when im not looking when i do see him but he doesn't speak on his own

He likes you but is shy and wants you to approach him to make things easier for him. Why don't you approach? he will love you for it :)

Being too straightforward isn't bad at all. It will save you both a lot of conversation starters that would make you both feel anxious and nervous. Just do it :)

Some of the comments make me wonder how we have such a high population. It's possible that he just enjoys looking at you, but is not interested enough to pursue it further. It's not always shyness or fear. What sort of reputation do you have? do you have a past?

There have been times where I've been interested in a girl, only to verify something that kills all attraction to pursue. But would occasionally still look in her direction.

Haha this sounds exactly like me, though my crush hasn't shown interest back, she will look over at me, though I think that's just because she has seen me looking at her.

And I can't approach, I try and convince myself to but I just can't do it, mainly because I can't tell

Smile, one large reason I can't tell if my crush likes me or not, is because she doesn't smile at me when she looks, in saying that you can't smile at her either because I'm petrified what she will think, I once caught her talking with friends pointing at me and laughing, since then I am too intimidated to approach.

I've been im the same situation to the point where i didn't even k ow if my crush has a crush on me way before and he used to make a lot of eye contact, when he makes a joke with his friends je immediately looks at me to see my reaction and that time i was like "why is he looking at me everytime" and when i look back he turn his eye.
And weeks after i've rumors about his friends telling that he likes me and i stated catching feelings for him. He can't even looks at me but sometimes we make lock eye contact and he always shows how he feels through body language. My problem is he never ever approach me.
