Flirting

So much tension between me and this guy?

There is this guy I know and he will ignore me and like say things under his breath about me or laugh with his friends, or if I say something he will be like really off with me or try to be funny or sarcastic. He'll bang into my as well on purpose like when he doesn't really have to and will never be alone with me. Rarely makes eye contact and never has friendly chat.And once I met this guy and I told my friends about him and his job he went 'oh I bet he isn't as good as that' but anyway because he acts like this with me, I act the same so we act like we can't stand each other. But the thing is we kissed each other so you would think that we would be nicer to each other (we were sober when we kissed) but we're not. I call him rude names (not to his face, his friends),ignore him, never smile at him, he laughs at me,tells me to grow up, is really off with me, never smiles at me and bangs into me.

Why do you think we can't be nice to each other. We did smile at each other once but then after he went back to being horrible. Once as well I touched his friend on the side when I spoke to him and he jumped away joking and sad to this boy 'wouldn't you be creeped out if she touched you like that' but he never responded and kept looking through his phone.

Is there just tension between us because of what happened or is it something more. I am a nice person and I don't like being like this with people but he just annoys me so much and I think I annoy him. Should I just live with the tension or try and be nice to him.? He's nice to almost all girls, like flirty and that but he's never once flirted with me or even been friendly. He has kissed another girl we know in the past but it is not awkward at all between them two.
