Ladies, Would you ever hold a guys hand if you didn't intend on being more than just friends?

I tend to over think things, so I'm trying to figure out where I am with this girl.

Took her out on a second date and went to hold her hand. She was receptive and held back and seemed to enjoy it.

My question is, girls would you ever hold a guys hand just to be nice and avoid an awkward scenario? How would you react to a guy holding your hand if you didn't like him? How big of a sign is holding hands when it comes to telling if someone likes you or not?

That's all I really did when it came to making a move on the second date so I'm wondering if I'm at a good point or not?

I don't hold a guy's hand unless I have feelings for him. I think that it's way less awkward to pull my hand away from a guy than have to explain later that holding his hand didn't mean anything. Not to mention the fact that it's pretty easy to set up body language that indicates that you don't want your hand to be held (such as folding your arms or playing with your hands). For me it's a big deal, but that's not the case with all girls. Some girls will hold hands with anything that walks around.

No I wouldn't. I link arms with my guy friends sometimes when walking at night or when it's cold just because it's comfy but I don't hold hands with them.

If a guy I didn't like tried to hold my hand, I would politely laugh and remove my hand then talk about something else.

If she let you hold her hand that's a sign that she might actually like you. At least for me, if I don't like the guy I would not let him my hand.

a girl I knew started holding my hand so I assumed she liked me. turns out she didn't and just wanted to be friends. my advice would be to try and kiss her ASAP

she likes you. holding your hand is a great sign, and the fact that she did say yes to going on dates with you shows that she's interested. :)
