Your giving almost nothing to work with here. So its really hard to say without knowing anything about what the selection pool they are referencing is.
I mean really there's just no points of reference or basis to assign behavior values.
Its good odds its probably a good thing - if they went to the effort to say it. Whatever the rest of the girls are your not.
Did you rock a really hot bikini when the other gals are sporting one peice suits, ax kick some dudes in the face, or rebuild a double barrel carberator? Again no idea what you do/ can do that other girls are not able or aren't doing.
Perhaps your extremely rational or not a spaz (ie calm under pressure)? Because that's pretty uncommon as well.

If you were wearing your underwear outside your pants, you'd be considered a rare breed.
Equally as well, if you were funny, smart, beautiful, and capable of coasting through life on your looks alone but not planning on it, you'd be considered a rare breed.
Point being, none of us will have any clue whether it was meant positively or negatively without knowing the context it was used in.
It's a compliment really. First of if a guy says something u dnt quite understand, u should b comfortable enough to ask him. I've been told that and I asked and my answer was I'm uniquely designed and different from the rest. This is mainly about me, my personality and character. There's none like me that he's found n he loves that about me, I'm blunt, real, straight forward, fun, exciting and independent. He feels comfortable and great around me n loves to converse with me because he adores me. Not sure what y'all spoke about before he actually said that, but why not ask him, instead of asking us. Hope dis helps!
The way I see it there's a lot of bad in the world, but goodness dwindles rare with every day. If someone thinks you're a rare find, I'd say that's a compliment.
:) Feel special
It's a good thing.
But beware, rare breeds are overlooked
or treated like shit.

That he want's to mate you with the stud on his farm? =P I've never heard someone use that term, but it sounds like you are different and unique. If you don't know what it meant, think about his facial expression when he said it and the context of the conversation. If the convo was going good and he smiles then its good. If you were arguing or did something clumsy and he had a weird look on his face, then probably bad. =)
it has a positive connotation when I use it. I use it mostly in business transactions, as a compliment. like "you are genuine. honest. not trying to swindle me" etc. if said to a woman i would me the same thing. "the real deal" "not fake" "a beauty"
Stonefield =[]=could go either way. most likely if he said it to yo it is positive.
It means you've done something to make him confuse you with a horse.
Either way, I would say good though.
It's a good thing don't worry.
