Crush on classmate in college

I have a crush on my classmate. We're in college now. We're taking same Psychology class this semester, and we are also in the same group. Our class meet is every Friday, but we also have group meeting to prepare for the exam when it is about to come. I feel that I really like him. We do talk with each other. We sit next to each other when we study.

Yesterday, there was a volleyball tournament at school, after hearing I talk about that, he seemed really interested in that tournament, and he said that he was going to go there to see the game. I asked him if I could go there with him, and he said yes. We went there, just 2 of us, there were his friends from his volleyball team, and his coach.

When we were about to leave, I felt that he was about to put his arm around me to hug goodbye me, but somehow he did not, maybe because I turn my face to his face.

We are going to see each other in class meeting and group meeting a lot. But I do not what to do then. Sometimes I feel that he is kind of interested in me. I want to ask him to see a baseball game with me, but should I ask him? What should I do now? We are on mid-term now, I just have 2 months left to be with him. I don't know what I'm gonna be when I can see him.

Did you know him in high school too?

I think you should take a leap of faith, put your feelings out there, and ask him on a more private date like the movies or whatever. If he's not interested oh well, his loss.

No. I met him at the beginning of the semester. Thanks your advice. He is very nice to me. There is also a girl who is his friend from elementary school in our group, and they are kind of goof friends, I guess. One day, he came to class late, and he chose to sit next to me, not next to his friend. So I need to make to first move to ask him on a more private date like you said ?
