My ex pulled that one on me with a close friend of mine, but he went a lot further. At one of my parties he started wrestling with a friend of mine in front of me... it didn't bother me and I didn't react at all... My husband watched the whole thing happen and explained the whole thing to me later. I was hanging out with another guy that I hadn't seen in forever catching up... they came in bumping everything and rolling all over the floor... I told them to go into the other room. After they left the room they started back right in the middle of the doorway where I could see them... she moved it to the couch where my husband said my ex's mood changed suddenly... he was getting angry... mad. Eventually he stopped wrestling with her and came in and started trying to talk to me. I had her confirm everything... even the flirting he did by phone or myspace... Well she confronted him about his behavior towards me and he admitted to her that he still was in love with me and could give me a better life... He was just trying to get a reaction from me, but not every guy is the same. If I had to label my ex... I would say player... but how little I knew that he has been after me the whole time.

He sounds very immature and he is playing games. He is trying to get you jealous for some reason. At the end of the day, if a guy really wanted and cared for a girl why would he do anything to try and hurt her and get a reaction from her? It doesn't make sense. But yeah, he probably likes you.
I believe he was just flirting for fun. And he glanced back at you to show you that although he is flirting with her, he is still thinking about you. And wanted to make sure you knew it was harmless.
"there is definitely something there between us, I can just feel it, ya know?"
Maybe now that he knows he's hooked you, he's moving on trying to catch another fish. Like a trophy. Ask him about it, totally freak out too! It'll catch him off guard.

Maybe because you are not his official girlfriend and he's just flirting for fun?
