Is it bad to ignore his texts because he ignores mine?

I have already told him that I do not like when he ignores my texts. I didn't come down on him or anything, in fact I was very humorous about it. He was trying to make fun of me for calling him out and I told him "well, I guess I just won't text you anymore". And I told him next time he texted me don't look for a response. We were all jokes until I said that and he admitted he would not like it. After that it got much better but then he began ignoring me here and there. But now it's back to square one. I feel like it is just so rude and inconsiderate. So should I stick to my word and just ignore his texts from now on? I don't want to nag but what else can be done?

NOPE your not wrong. I use to do it. Years ago I had a guy I liked pull those stunts with me. I am the type of person who requires attentiveness & I am to type of person who give it in return. Which he wasn't attentive to me. I think I was just to understanding, patient, & graceful back then & some people started to take advantage of it. (he was one of them) I just told myself he was busy etc, After taking time to lightly tlk to him about it & he ddn't make any changes I knew he wasn't worth my time/energy. If he can't be thoughtful enough to answer simple txt, he will not be able to handle a serious emergency or a complication.

If he is ignoring you on a regular basis, then hell yes do it. You need to communicate to him that it is not okay, and some men don't listen to reason. They learn and realize things through an experience. If he realizes how much it bothers him, he might see it from your side and give you the attention you deserve, if he doesn't he isn't worth the trouble.

If he ignores you then don't be thirsty and chase behind him. he must not be that interested in talking to you.

Don't continue ignoring him and he won't ignore you, it might take a while and here and there both of you will miss out on each other but if you two keep ignoring each other than you'll soon simply stop being friendlies.
