Controversial question, why do less attractive girls get hit on more than the really pretty ones?

For example I know some pretty unattractive girls and on a night out guys paid them so much attention and my stunning friend just got gawped at but no one approached her?! I mean wtf, are guys playing at here?

Why do you want the less attractive girl and not the beautiful classic girl, is it because you think the less attractive girl,will say yes? And the hot girl will turn you down?

My advice? Ask out the hot girl! She never gets asked out Because guys don't ever approach them!

Most normal men don't approach really attractive girls. The ones that do usually are major players who will hit on anything that moves. The average guy sees an attractive girl and thinks "she's attractive, so she already has a boyfriend, is bitchy, is too used to being approached by guys, doesn't see me as an average guy as being attractive to her, etc."

Most men think like this.

I've dated some very attractive women, including a professional model. She told me that she was rarely approached and that neither me or her ex-bf's thought that was truthful. She insisted it was the case. After dating a few other beautiful girls, I can tell you that it is more common than many guys think.

The bottom line is, most guys believe (sometimes wrongly) that the girl will think she's too good for him. Men try to chase after what they think is attainable. A beautiful girl is considered unattainable, just something nice to look at from a distance.

I'm going to guess that your unattractive friends are more outgoing than your attractive one. Men like it when women show they are interested, even more so when the girl has looks. Am I correct in guessing that your hot friend is more introverted in nature?

Have her read this. She probably has a "hot bitch" attitude which is off-putting to guys and she doesn't even know it. Men aren't always the best at reading signals, so she needs to be better at giving them. Also, introverted people don't tend to go out by themselves. Hanging with a group of other women isn't a good idea. She needs to go out alone more and not just in bars/clubs.

You're welcome. Just remember that four or five girls in a group isn't something that most men want to approach, especially the hottest one of the group. As an introvert, if she has free time, she's more likely to spend time at her home instead of out and about. Introverts often don't place themselves in social situations without people they trust, which means they reduce their chances.

Generally guys think lesser attractive girls are:

1. Easier to bed

2. Generally performance and assets make up for loss of looks

Hot girls they think (probably few of reasons):

3. Hot girls probably have a lot more people after her so less competition with less attractive girls

4. Hot girls may be snobs and / or may reject their advance thus it's risking ridicule, rejection etc

She just stands there and expects her good looks to carry the day.

And they don't. And they rarely will.

No matter how good looking the girl is, she has to actually DO something.

Average looking girls know how to get a guy to hit on her.

The really pretty ones don't. They have the foolish notion that their good looks should be enough.

You're not actually listening to the girls themselves, and they will tell you, it is not a sure thing.

That's an assumption. Yes, she could be the "hot" girl, but in the end, what if she's not? Either way, I think what I've said and some of the other posters have said are more or less true as to why some attractive girls don't get hit on as much as one might think, and I say that as someone who has dated my fair share of attractive girls. That's all.
