Does ignoring your ex's phone calls really bother him?

My ex left me 3 months ago & is now involved with someone else & claims he loves her but, still does not let more than 2 weeks. Go by before calling me for some stupid reason. I have finally tired of his calls & have been ignoring them so now he is calling several times a day, never leaves a message- just says I'll call back later. What is he up to & if things are so great with his new love why does he feel the need to keep in contact with me? Should I continue ignoring his calls- I don't want to be used as a backup plan which I could easily let happen since I'm still not over him?

I think that he probably still has feelings for you if he keeps calling you. The next time he calls though I would answer and ask him what his deal is if he says it's just to be friends then you have nothing to worry about, I know that most times when a guy calls you back its just as a friend. And he's mabye moved on I know its hard to get over someone quickly but it's the way of life.

It does bother them. He can't stand that you are living your life without him. I think he will use you as a back up plan that is why you have to ignore his calls or you will get roped back in. He isn't getting the same from this girl that he got from you. They hate that. Keep staying strong. You can get over this guy. You will find someone who is loyal to you.

I'd guess he's not over you, if he needs to call for some odd reason.

I ignore my EX Girlfriends calls not sure if she will ever stop it's been about two months now. It's up to you you can talk to him and tell him to leave you alone or tell him you will get a anti-harassment order to stop him from calling you or you can change your number.

Just ignore his calls until he gets so frustrated that he stops. I'm sure it is bothering him, or he wouldn't be doing it. He can't stand it that you are moving on, and he still wants control over you. Don't let it happen; stay strong! Keep ignoring him!

You should carry on ignoring his calls, he probably does see you as a backup plan.

If your not over him then you should not ignore his calls and yes it does bother guys when you ignore their calls.
