I met this guy about 2 months ago in uni , we were partners in a project and ever since then we became real good friends , we chat online almost everyday and he asks about me when I'm absent . I used to think he liked me because he would say I'm cute , pretty , funny and sweet like a million times , he still calls me all those things , especially cute . But he hasn't asked me out , or even asked for my number ... so I'm thinking he could just view me in a Platonic way as a friend , so is it possible that a guy calls a girl cute/pretty while still being platonic ?

Itis very possible. I have had many platonic female friends who were attractive. However this sounds more like he does in fact like but is just shy. Id put money on it.
