Nothing good can come of this for you. No motivation he has to meet you can benefit you. Odds are, he wants to talk about what happened and try things again. And, once a cheater, always a cheater is 100% true. The worst case scenario would be that you give in and you start dating again.
Another motivation is that he would like to stay friends, which once again, is no help to you. You don't want your cheating boyfriend as a friend.
One other motivation is that he has something to tell that happened when you were together, for example, he was actually cheating on you all along, he never loved you, or something like that, blah blah blah.
Move on. Accept the break up. And when you're ready, find Mr. Right who won't cheat on you.
