Any advice of how to approach a girl at the beach/poolside?

Do girls like been approach at the beach or at the pool? if so how I would approach without making them feel very awkward?

First of all you have to make sure that, rather you go for a friendship or you go for just picking up.

Assuming you want to get some "exercise" on the material, you should know what type of girl you want. if you want a girl that lasts for one night, don't go for the pool, go for the bar instead.

At the pool, usually a girl wants to relax, have a good time and what not... So try not to make things awkward and go for the actual friendship (don't get too deep though. You'll be stuck in there). Be nice and respectful and just say "Hi" or something more exact like "Hey, how are you? Having a good time?" with a smile on your face and looking into her eyes. That will make her cheer up a little bit and give her some curiosity of what's there coming.

After that, it's all about talking. Pretty much random stuff until you find out something that you both like and that you can spend all day talking. If the conversation is getting boring, try to invite her for a swim and you'll figure out something else to talk about. if she doesn't want to then say "Okay, that's fine. It was really good to talk meet you. What is your name again?" and after a couple words, you'll get her number.

Note: if she is surrounded by friends, don't even bother trying. Unless she is alone or with 1-3 friends, it's not even worth it.

Note 2: You have to notice if she has a good personality for you because if she's like, the opposite of what you want, one of you will end up being rude and you'll have to carry on with a fail.

I'm still 17, so what ever I say here might not be the greatest thing to say for older women. Keep waiting for more feed back, Cheers :D

thanks man you bring up a good point, I usually try not to approach women if she has her friends with unless I have a wing man but its also hard to find women alone that beach sometimes.

with a group of friends, it is a lot easier, thing go really smooth and quick.

Better do it when they are alone, but they are rarely alone at beaches/poolsides. Poolsides... well a maybe. Only thing you can really do is approach them with a hey or what's up.

Unfortunately yeah, a girl tanning half naked is the WORST time to approach a girl.

Just swing by and say hello. If they respond in a friendly manner then make small talk about the beach, weather and etc.

At your age that's normal... But for a 25YO+ girl, that's probably one of the best ways to meet someone. Just give respect, space and comfort while talking and then let yourself get known. If she enjoys, she will reply back with info about her.

For a 16YO, the best way is actually by social network or friends. When I try to talk to girls at the beach (I'm 17), all by myself, I usually end up with a hooker type of girl or a really desperate one. With friends is different though.

I think they all like to be approach but the real question is, depends on the guy. Lets face facts if the guy is not a complete tool, with good looks, money and muscles he's not getting any girl/women's number.
