British guys vs American guys

So recently I've been really interested in British guys they always seem nice and they are always really attractive, well at least the ones I've met, I'm from California and guys don't seem to be nearly as nice or attractive as the British guys, I know every place has its goods and its bads but has anyone else noticed this ? Any American guys have a rebuttal ?

I've been to the UK and honestly I think that British guys are just as attractive as American guys across the board, maybe a little uglier because they sometimes have really messed up teeth and are often extremely pale. The accent is hot and the British guys that we see on TV are obviously hot but the actual population there isn't much different than American white guys as far as looks go.

I think American girls are always saying things like, "OMGZ British guyz are lyke so hawt lol!" because they're comparing the guys they see around school and in real life to the British actors on television.

extremely pale is attractive AND natural for their racetype and environment. I prefer pale to tan (fake or natural). I don't get why some people list it as a negative? the stupid tanning trend started in the 60s. how long are people gonna push it? I know THESE days we can't say "oh you're so dark, ew" but why is it OK to say the opposite? pale skin does NOT make people "uglier"

The thing about physical traits is that different ones are attractive to different people. Some people won't date a person because their nose is ugly and I don't even notice noses. Pale skin is hot to you and probably to a lot of other people but it isn't to me. Skin that's too dark isn't attractive to me either. We all have different opinions but to me being paper white is a minus. Thankfully I live in California.

exactly. I lived in california for years and I never got caught up in the tanning thing. I know we can't say certain things that aren't PC for fear of being called a racist and yet people are free to say negative things about "ugly" pale/pasty/white skin and how people need to get a tan to be attractive. I mean on TV and at school and everywhere ! in fact everyone is afraid to say anything nice about pale skin at all !

I'm not afraid to say anything nice about pale skin, I just don't have anything nice to say about it because I don't like it. That's not racism, it's my personal preference.

i have found a few British boys attractive not just because of their faces but because of the way they carry themselves. chivalry? manners? a (relatively) reserved personality? are just a few of the things that come to mind. britain actually has a culture unlike America (just ask vladimir putin) ...

and... brits tend to have witty things to say.

I will go to England this summer, so I will hve a better take on this statement, but I'd say you'll get equal proportion of attractiveness and ugliness.

Hands down, Swedish guys and girls are incredibly attractive. It's something in the water of Scandinavian origin, I'm sure.

You probably have a skewed perception of British guys considering most the ones you see are likely in the media rather than in person, since you don't live in the UK.

IMO British people are quite ugly in general, that's both men and women. Over 60% are overweight too. My perception of them is probably just skewed the other way though.

It's only natural to be curious with regard to something exotic and unknown. I myself quite like American and Canadian women. Foreign women in general!

Yay I'm British! Lool, I think it's because of all the British actors in the movies recently, like Tom Hiddlestone, Robert Patterson, Orlando Bloom, Daniel Craig, Daniel Radcliffe, the Game of Thrones series (etc. etc.). In music as well bands like One Direction.

Probably these things have changed global perception of the British, doesn't mean every British guy is like that lol.

You are from CALIFORNIA. Obviously the guys are going to be a**holes and crap. Just try moving somewhere else. I can tell that from working in the Tourist business in Orlando, FL that I see a ton of English people everyday. They aren't much different from Americans besides the accents.

It's simply the allure of foreign, new, strange and exciting. You'll find that British guys on average are no better than American guys, unless you're judging on accents.

But do whatever you want.

Well I'm British. It doesn't surprise me that the British men who make it to California are high quality. But if you ever come to Britain, you'll see that we have our fair share of bad people (male and female).

Lol so one guy kept calling Americans dumb, and saying how smart Canadians are , he told me he bets that if he asked everyone in America what was the country directly above them not even a third of them would know. One guy was talking about obesity in America and how its ridiculous and just bragging about Canada. lol and they are saying this all to my face...like they didn't even care I was American.

Most Euro countries do feel the same way about Americans. I don't wanna sound like a snob but our quality of life is a lot better than the average blue collar American. In their defense...its kinda true...I've been to Texas! You can't go anywhere without driving. Hardly anyone bike or walk or else they look at you funny in their trucks/suvs...O.o There's fast food joints everywhere and the food, bbq, steaks are delicious! But the majority peeps I see at those restaurants are 3-4 times my size!

I think it might be media related that you get that idea, like alonso said, most of us aren't that attractive ^_^ and the population is generally overweight (including myself) but everyone has their own opinion :)
