Boyfriends mom is a bitch and he's a mamas boy

I have not done anything wrong to my boyfriend or anything to his mom. I am always in a good mood with her and I always help her clean up and ask if she needs help. I found out she says stuff behind my back. I asked my boyfriend to talk to her and He said no. He has no interest in asking her to stop talking bad about me. He listens to everything she says. I don't want him to pick between us. I just wish that I could not have her talk bad about me. Because if we were to get married I'd want to consider her a mother. Should I just dump him? I've tried everything and said it to my boyfriend in the nicest way possible.

My mom is not like that at all and it feels weird thinking some mothers just never became mature enough to overcome their bitchness...

Anyway. You got 2 choices in my opinion:

1) You let him know that you are dumping him because he is being incapable of being objective. Whether it is his mom or not, she is being a bitch to you and you have done nothing wrong. She is in the wrong. Not you. Hopefully he will realize his mistake and the pain of losing you will open his eyes.

2) You go talk to his mother as the one who will potentially give her, her grandchildren, and adress and confront her about her bitchness. You ask her what the f*** is her problem.

I would say dump him, because he doesn't want to stand up for you and to his mother. I would think he doesn't care about me or the relationship if I were you.
