Asked me out now he's ignoring me?

Hey.

So this guy asked me out on a date on Monday for Saturday. As I wasn't sure of my work schedule, I told him I'd let him know about whether I'm free or not. I ended up sending him a text on Thursday to tell him I'm free this Saturday (we didn't communicate between Monday and Thursday).

However, he seems to be ignoring me because he didn't respond to my text yesterday. I decided to send him another text today to check if the plan is still on, he didn't even bother responding.

What the hell? I even apologized for taking ages to give him a response.

Did I do something wrong by sending him a text on Thursday? Was it too short notice?

Or is he simply ignoring me for whatever reason?

What's up with him?

Bear in mind he already cancelled our first date once with no apology whatsoever.

Hmm one possibility is that he is quite into you and impatient - maybe he psyched himself out already by the time you texted him back.

Another is that you're not the first on his priority - eg. if he already has a girlfriend or something but the relationship isn't going too well.
