As immature as it is, should I take her making fun of me as some kind of flirting?

This girl likes to make fun of me a lot. Seriously, I'm a OK guy, I'm fit, I'm smart and I usually make friends fast and am well liked by people, and people making fun of me is not one of my worries since grade school, but this girl just keeps doing it (She is 23, by the way).

What does she make fun of? The way I talk, the words I use, sometimes the clothes I wear (she especially dislikes my sunglasses, I catch her looking at me with a weird look/smirk on her face), the things I like and just almost anything. I've been called so many names (not offensive, just things like nerd, weirdo etc) and then when I say something like "well, maybe I should leave" she gets all "yes please, goodbye!" (of course, she has a playful tone on her voice)

Is this some weird kind of flirting? I mean, I'm a grown man and she is a grown woman and making fun of a person seems childish, especially on an everyday basis. How should I take this?

Do you have to go around this girl? Why go be around someone who only has negative things to say about you? There are a lot of persons who find pleasure in belittling others and you have persons who find pleasure in being called hurtful names and be described in a bad way. If you dislike it you should avoid her like an adult and ignore her as well. If you go in a relationship with her, what makes you think she will talk to you any differently?

You saying "Well maybe I should leave" just makes you seem even more like a pushover to her. If you're going to keep going in her personal space and staying in it for long periods you should try insulting her too. Don't allow this child to bully you.

Well, to tell you the truth I don't HAVE to be around her. However, when I try to avoid her she will go find me and make fun of how I'm being quiet or call me a jerk for ignoring her and things like that. I'm no pushover,many times in the past I have answered to her and I feel worse afterwards.

Its hard to make a decision. She is a caring individual and believe it or not, has been supportive many times when I have been down and give me advice for which I'm thankful, but no idea why she is like this

You must ask her why she picks on you then. If she is such a caring person to help you when you are down you should let her know that you don't appreciate her negativity towards you. And it is only now I'm seeing the "flirty" side to her. Do not let your emotional guard down, don't let her believe that you want her to be romantically involved with her because this could be her newest thing to tease you on.

Could be. I know I sometimes (not all the time) make fun of girls I like, and vice versa. I think maybe there should be a balance between bonding, making fun of each other, and having fun/interesting conversations. If the entire interaction is just dominated by her making fun of you, maybe that might not be a good thing.
