Signs a girl is embarrassed about a rumour she likes you ?.

Would a girl ignore you, be abrupt with you, tease you, being sarcastic with you.

All of this came out of the blue, and I think someone mentioned a rumour that she liked me.

After 2 weeks she was fine and then she started ignoring me again.

So I just wanted to ask if she doing this because she liked me or because of the rumour.

We got on great for a while and I was going to ask her out before she started acting this way.

well, the rumor is out there. If you heard then I'm sure it got back to her that you know. Her initial reactions were all the classic signs of feeling embarrassed. She was definitely trying to down play the situation. It's happened to me before and I did exactly this...don't ask me why. After hearing this rumour,you may not have been receptive and rejected the thought of anything happening. That could lead you to act the exact way she is acting towards you now...so basically,she was beating you to the punch line...so insecurities of having her feelings out there may play a big part.

or there is the actual possibility that this was just a rumour,she doesn't have feelings for you and it is her way of letting you know without well,um,letting you know...Either way,if you like this girl you are aware of her true self. Her recent behavior is because of something else maybe you,maybe personal problems...who knows...just ask her out already. Now also,this is just me...but why not bring up the rumour in a light hearted joking manor..."so rumour has it..."..."word on the street is..." and then maybe something like" if this is true I can't say that we won't be going out this weekend" or something like that ha ha but make sure to smile and laugh...if she likes you,and you like her what's the harm. If you can handle the possibility of a little rejection and she says its not true at least its out in the open and everybody involved gets to move on. best of luck

this has happened to me. I ignored him cause I was certain he didn't like me. I was mortified. didn't wanna seem like a creep or clingy lover keep trying to talk to him or be near him, I would stay out of his way. mutual friends knew I liked him, and he figured it out too but he didn't reciprocate and I took it as rejection. I didn't ignore him to spite him or be mean, I was genuinly embarrassed and waned to give him his space didn't wanna look like a rejected loser or come on too strong.

signs she's embarrassed? she doesn't look at u, no eye contact, ignores u, crosses arms (defensive anxious body language) walks away and seems sad and lost in her own thoughts.

i would suggest if you really like this girl, you should tell her as soon as possible so she doesn't take the rejection so harshly...give her some assurance. you should ask her out and make her day. don't make it harder on her than it already is. most girls are terrified about telling a guy their feelings and when it happens whether through a rumor or directly, its a nerve wrecking situation.

the guy I liked he never did anything about it, never gave me assurance didn't even care to talk or give me some closure and I honestly lost my self esteem. I will never ask a guy out again and have been depressed for a while now. the more quiet you stay the worse she thinks about herself and how ugly she was to you that you couldn't even reject her politely.

are you talking about me? this is exactly what i am going through. I acted the same like the girl you like to the rumors. Let me tell you why. Firstly I like this guy as well, but i am not so sure if he likes me. He acted like he was interested sometimes but still i am not sure, so I feel very insecure. When i heard the rumors, I feel like my secret (that i like him) is not secure anymore and every one may know that, including him. So i become more insecure and try to prove to everyone or him that i dont like him (but that 's not true, i still have a crush on him). So i ignore him on purpose, you know, to protect myself. So now you know how she thinks. well, so what should you do now? I am not good at giving advice, but i have the same situation here. I would expect the guy to ask me out, open up and tell me about his feelings. That way, I will not be insecure anymore. And if i still love him, we love each other now who cares about the rumors
