I really probably should :(.
When's the last time you hugged your parents?
I really probably should :(.
Aww, you should here & there. It's just a sign of affection ^-^
The last time I hugged my mom was literally 3 hours ago lol. I hug my momma all the time just because she's so darn cute, hahah. & plus, I loooovee giving hugs & receiving them :3 they're so nice lol.
Honestly, the better relationship you have with your parents the easier it is to do small things like hug them or kiss them...because I know when I'm mad I don't want to be hugging anybody -__- lol. If you're asking a question about hugging your parents, I think you SHOULD go and hug them. Little small signs of affection like hugging go a long way. I bet it will mean a lot to them.
I haven't hugged them for a month and a half... but that's just because I don't live with them . .
I'm far away for studying... The truth is I really miss them now that I'm gone.. but whan I'm near I never hesitate to hug or kiss or caress them... :)
I 've been told from a psychologist that hugs help you develop your confidence...:)
Just this morning :D lol
:D
Last time I hugged my mom was about 6 months before she died. I told her I loved her also. I probably hadn't told he that since I was a kid, but I knew she wouldn't be around much longer so it was now or never. I'm glad I did too.
I'm not sure but I think the last time I hugged my dad was when my mom died.
When I lived 3000 miles away and only saw them once a year at the most I always hugged both of them when I left to go back home.
"I really probably should :(."
Yes, you should.
My dad passed away 19 years ago and the last time I hugged him was on his birthday 24th of August 1994, just 5 days after he passed away.
I hugged my mom 2 months ago when I was at her home playing with my nephews and showing them that I love her just as much as they love her. I think they enjoyed that hug a lot, because they can't stop hugging people since then, lol.

i always hug my mom, I jz hugged her last nyt :)...i'm not that close to my dad since he's not that expressive but I hug him on new year's eve and on his birthday/father's day :)...Ur parents might not say anything about it but they would love to get some hugs from their kids :)...Imagine if your the parent and your kids don't hug you anymore...
I hugged my mom Sunday afternoon. She'd been out of town for a week, a really BAD week dealing with sick family and the drama that comes with that, so I hugged her when I saw her again.
I think the last time I hugged my dad was a year ago, when his mother died.
I don't have the best relationship with them, so...
:(
It could be worse, haha!
Superficial hugs/air kisses to greet them. That's it but it would be weird if they started hugging me properly seen as they never did before. My parents are the opposite of affectionate and I'm far too affectionate with guys I date. I can never get enough hugs.
I am 26 I hug my mother every time I see her even if I get mad at her because she is my mother and for my father I usually shake his hand but last time I hugged my father was when the Steelers went to Super Bowl 43.
lol yea you should :) treat every day as thought it's the last cos you never know what happens in life. that's what my teacher always said. She'd always hug her family because she didn't know if something would happen or not.
I'm not sure. I've hated physical contact with people since I was very little, so over the years they've learned to respect that and mind their distance. But they do hug me on occasion, but for stuff like pictures or when we're in front of people and they don't want to look weird.
I don't hug them but I always hold one of their arms when I'm sitting beside them :-)
I'm surprised that you don't hug your parents anymore because I remember you offering a free hug to all GAGers in one of your long ago questions. :P
I know, I have a different way of showing affection to my parents though
I feel odd hugging my parents.
I know they care about me but they have a very different way of showing it.
They weren't very affectionate with me to begin with.
Because of this I have a hard time showing emotions.
I should show some more affection because parents won't be around forever.
To answer your question, I have done it recently but it feels weird.
I think no one is ever to old to show our parents affection. The last time I gave my mom a hug was in 2008 :-( she passed away that year. I never hugged my father because I never met him.
:(
A few weeks ago when I was up at the farm. They're getting to the age that I want to make sure I see em pretty often, but it's hard since I'm living down south and they're up north.
Lots of hugs are kind of a requirement. :-)
Mine are dead so sometime ( hopefully ) before they took their dirttnap. Still, you somehow managed to beat my score even though it's not an inaccessible commodity to me. You'd really better hug them before you forget how to hug.
4 years ago! Just before they passed away! I miss them so much! Time is precious, enjoy every second because you never know!
I hug my parents a lot actually. My dad more than my mom most likely through, since I only really see him once a week. I see my mom about an hour or two every day, depending on our work schedules and if she goes to see her boyfriend.
Um...the last time my mom hugged me was when she dropped me off at college this fall. So...two months ago?
The last time I hugged either of them was significantly longer ago. I can't even remember. My family doesn't hug much.
My mother and me hug about once every 1-2 weeks. It happens mostly when she's feeling affectionate or sad about something.
The last time I hugged my father was Nov. 29, 2008, when I turned 18. That was exactly one month before he passed away.
I sat behind my mother and embraced her for about 3 minutes while I vented. It was great. I haven't hugged my dad since I was 13 because that's the last time he came to visit me cause he's a d***, but I digress. Hug your parents dude!
They are dead and did not even hug them for the last ten years or so of their lives. You should. They will not be here forever. No matter the past love them as much as possible. Make yourself proud and be happy and they will respect you for it but make sure you take advantage of the time you have with them. 5 stars
I can't remember! I'm not into hugging and displaying affection, but they know I care about them and they probably know I love them. I sure hope so.
Well why don't you? If you feel like it, just do it.
I hug them (my mom, her boyfriend, and my grandparents) every time I see them. I was raised in an affectionate family. I last saw them a couple of weeks ago and hugged them goodbye once they left.
Well mom it has been 2 years or more ,but dad 2 days ago . I find it weird hugging her. I dunnu that's just me
I hug my mom everyday, when I'm leaving to go out and when I come back, we're a hugs and kisses family I guess
yesterday :) even when they are driving me up walls or hurting me I will always swallow my pride and hug them cause I never wanna regret
I hug my mum all the time. It's not really in my culture to grow apart from our parents. we'll move out but visit each other a minimum of 3 times a week.
wow that's a long time.
i'm pretty sure I hugged my dad about one 1/2 weeks ago. hugged my mom about a 2months ago (which was the last time I saw her)
a few weeks ago I hugged my mom. I'm sure I hugged my dad in the past month or two also.
I don't know if I ever reached that stage where hugging was weird/wrong.
I hug everybody :) I love hugs! I couldn't go a day without getting a hug :) My parents are no exception!
About 5 minutes ago, I hugged my mum twice. I hug her almost everyday. I rarely hug my dad. He's not a huggy person and I don't particularly like him.
I hugged my mother about a week ago. I think you should go hug your parents. It never hurts to hug anyone that you love and care about :)
I last hugged my father in 1999. It was 2 days before he died.
I try to avoid physical contact with the devil spawn that is known as my mother.
Aw I'm sorry :(
Good question...
I'll hug my mom every time I see her... the funny thing is that I'm closer with my father, but I've only hugged him ONCE in my whole life! Males don't show other males physical affection where I'm from :/
start doing it...I lost my mom almost 5 years ago,i wish I had hugged her more :(+++
I hugged my mother hours ago and my father 2 months ago I think.
A few weeks ago. I live 4 hours from them, so I generally hug them when I see/leave them.
An hour ago. I always hug and kiss my parents when I see them or when I'm leaving.
You will have to bury your parents someday.
Hug them, tell them you love them. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone.
Hugged my mom yesterday, usually hug her 2-3 times a week. I don't hug my dad often I think the last time was maybe 2 months ago, not sure why though.
I don't hug my parents really, I kiss them on the head before bed that's all.
Aw :)
Sometime when I was a teenager I think. I've hugged other family memebers such as my grandma and uncle more recently than that. It's been so long now since I;ve hugged my parents I fear that it would come off as strange to them if I did.
When I last saw them, which was about a year and a half ago.. I'll see them again this Christmas though so I'll make sure to hug them :)
A few days ago. They came to see me for my birthday. :) I hug them and tell them I love them whenever I see them.
My parents both abuse me and mistreat me and it's been like this ever sine I was 4 years old and probably when I was born as well.
I've never.hugged my mother...I don't know her. But.my daddy, I hug him when I say good night or go out of the country away from him. :)
Like a week ago when I came down to visit. But whenever my mom gets home as a greeting I kiss her on the cheek. It's sad that people don't hug their parents as often.
This morning before she went to work. And, you definitely should. Physical touching is actually quite good for the human body and psyche.
It is about be 5 seconds from now! I am gonna give my dad a hug. Thanks for the idea. Give it a try?
I can't remember maybe a special occasion I'm not really touchy feely with my parents.
Some people always hug their parents saying hello or goodbye. I don't do that really unless I was going away abroad .
I hug them all the time...unless they were abusive or something I don't know why you wouldn't.
I hugged my dad yesterday, sometimes I hug my step mom as well, but never my biological mother we don't get along at all...
Last week. We are French so we hug every time we see each other.
ohhh man llllllllooooong time, it always kind of felt weird, like when you hug the aunt that you never see, even though you see them everyday
when my mom had surgery 5 months ago.
then, when my dad left...I last hugged him at 5years old.
Hugged them last night and my mom 15 minutes ago. I love my parents :)
A week ago. My parents are typical Span. parents. hugging is non optional.
Last time I saw them, we hug while saying goodbye so its kinda obvious.
Last time I hugged my dad I must have been about 5. I remember he kept pushing me off of him, and decided not to even try anymore. I think the last time I hugged my mom I was about 11.
last time I saw them. If I don't give hugs before I leave, all hell is raised.
I don't even know. I honestly don't even remember the last time I told them I loved them either
End of August when I came back home after working away over the summer.
I don't remember. I've never been too close to either of them.
