Guys, how would you feel if a girl approached you first?

Question

A lot of girls seem to think we're just DYING for this to happen, but I really can't say that I am. I mean, it might be cute and charming, but it's not what I'm actually wishing would happen.

I approached a guy kind of (sort of) recently. But only from noticing his stares and such, so I assumed he was kind of interested. I didn't just go up and say "Want to go out with me?" but instead made a comment to myself about the busses being late ("jeez these busses take forever!") while being NEAR him purposely and he responded from that immediately. Does that count as approaching or..? :p I don't think he knew I was interested though and when I hinted it weeks later, he basically said he's shy with that stuff and basically admitted he's interested as well. THAT'S when he began flirting more, more physical contact, etc. Just makes me wonder if he's doing all this BECAUSE I hinted my interest..or if he was interested the whole time and feels more comfortable being more flirty now..

It's also hard on the girl when she has to make the first move, guys. Even if you're shy..it can make us ALSO feel like we're being desperate/annoying :/ So now I'm just backing away because of feeling so.

I'm a girl who always thought that's what guys wanted. Then again there was always a 50/50 chance it would come off as coming on too strong and most guys I like are introverts so it would freak them out and scare them off. Other times it was OK but since I made the approach guys took it as I wanted sex. So maybe I should learn to hang back... Lol

I'm a huge ass introvert, but I've had girls approach me. Sadly it's always been girls that I'm not attracted to at all; and thus I voted for "I'm not into that".

However, I would love - LOVE - it if an attractive girl were to approach me. It would take so much of the burden off me

It's happened a couple times. I personally enjoy it because I don't have to do the asking and I know there interested in me. The downside of that is I am really bad at rejecting someone, so it would kill me to turn her away.

I don't think it really matters to me that much. I mean I guess it would be nice, but usually if I am interested in a woman, I'll be as straight as possible about it, so I have no problem being the one who approaches.

I would be very happy because I might not be aware that this girl likes me. Or, I might like the girl but be too scared to approach her because I don't know if she likes me. Don't want to be turned down. So, I really wish girls would approach guys more often. It would make mating and relationships easier.

Depends on the girl. It's a 300lb orcishly nasty girl then no. But if it's someone I was interested in, absolutely.

I wouldn't like it unless I was giving off signs. Even then, if I really wanted to talk to her I'd start the conversation myself.

Anything else is taken me by surprise and I hate being bothered when I'm going for a stroll or doing errands.
