Girls, do you find country guys, or preppy guys more attractive?

Do you like a guy who lives a full on country life style, or a guy who seems more comfortable with social events and white collar affairs? How about a guy who is preppy, but enjoys things like camping, fishing, canoeing, hunting, 4 wheeling, and hiking, and he knows how to properly do them because he grew up with them. The only thing is, he enjoys them in moderation.



In your answer just say whether you live in a more rural or urban setting.

I like preppy guys the best.

Preppy guys, who like, and know how to do country stuff is the best.

I'm clearly not a girl, but you're not gonna get a 100% certain answer. This is gonna be solely regional. For instance, girls in West Virginia and Kentucky will be head over heels for flannel wearing, rough looking country dudes who live and breathe hunters orange and camouflage. Girls in New York City would be in love with guys who are the hollister wearing, faded style jeans wearing preppy boys. This isn't 100% but for the most part that's the answer you're looking for.

I don't have experience with country guys seeing as I'm from a different country (sounds funny) but from what I understand neither those would fit me or at least judging from what I've heard or read. But honestly, preppy has a bad stereotype overseas it appears. I find nerdy guys attractive the most but if I had to pick it would probably be preppy and I'm from a more urban environment but not a city.

I don't like "preppy" guys. I chose country guys. They seem a lot more masculine to me. And yes, I live in in a very rural area so I suppose I feel this way because it's what I'm more exposed to. Nearly every guy I know is "country." I just like guys who know how to work with their hands, aren't afraid to get dirty, more outdoorsy types and can do outdoor activities with me, etc.

I live in an urban environment. I tend to go for nerdy or rocker guys as opposed to country or preppy guys. But if I had to choose between those, I'd pick the preppy guy.

I wouldn't like the country guy cause I don't like hunting, country music or fishing. But I would like it if the preppy guy had some country guy qualities such as liking animals and camping/hiking.

I live In a more rural area. I love doing all that 'country' stuff mentioned but I don't mind the city either :) all kinds of guys in whatever backgrounds are attractive to me. as long as we get along well and stuff you know, that means more to me than that stuff. as long as we can have fun together :)

I like outdoor activities,I am atletic and I would like to date a guy who can keep up with me. Generaly,i prefer guys who have no problem rolling on the grass with me and my dogs xP

Tbh,i like sporty guys. Being country or preppy doesn't make any difference as long as we have the same interest and views on life.

Country guys sounds nice and respectable

City guys - I like preppy guys but like you said not all of them are nice they can be players etc - same goes for country guys

guess you have to look carefully and hope the choice you make is correct

I live in a more urban part of South Carolina. I love to fish and hunt, so a guy would have to at least be able to do those things with a smile on his face. But for clothes, I think the button up shirts and chubbies (shorts brand) are soooo attractive! I think guys should be balanced between country and preppy (for me personally).

Gimme a country boy any day. Though a city guy with country interests works as well. So long as he is down for camping, hiking, riding, 4WDing, etc - fun outdoorsy stuff.

I lived in an urban area then moved to an urban are during school. I would find the down to earth country guy more attractive. I don't fawn over preppy guys with their name brand clothes and their media brainwashed heads.

In the past, I've fallen for both styles. Nowadays, I tend to lean towards the preppy guy with an adventurous spirit. I'm a city girl with a lot of camping/hiking experience.
