My boyfriend likes to make me mad. Sometimes I go along with it but sometimes he says things like he doesn't care. He says he likes when I get mad. I don't understand the satisfaction in that.

The guy sounds like a true assclown in every sense of the word. Personally, I wouldn't stay with a person who not only p*sses me off on a regular basis, but openly admits to getting his jollies in doing so. Seems to me either he just wants attention, he's one of those people who just enjoy that (my step dad is the exact same way behavior wise), or he truly is just an inconsiderate jackass. Whatever the case, I'd call him on it and then dump him on the spot the next time he's just doing stuff to p*ss you off.

He likes it when you get mad? What kind of things does he do to make you mad? You need to be a little more specific. If he says he doesn't care I would think it depends on what it is he doesn't care about. Maybe you just get mad easily or maybe it's some weird fetish he has. Maybe he is just evil and mean inside so he enjoys making others feel negative. Or maybe he thinks you're cute when you're mad.

Because he DOESN'T care and he knows he can get away with it. Someone who cares about you won't do that. He is trying to get you mad so you'll dump him-then of course he's gonna blame the break up on you "cause you always get mad." Classic.
