Do I ignore her texts?

There is this girl, last I knew of we mutual liked each other. we text each other but lately I have been that last one to text and not got a response. like the other night I never got a response so about 30min I texted back goodnight. thinking she was sleeping. but I saw her online. I hate being ignored so I texted back saying you can't even say goodnight, that's kinda mean. she tried calling the next day, but I was on the phone with my cousin and never answered. later that night she texted me saying hi, again I was the last one to say anything. then we didn't talk for a few days and today she texted me saying hi. I never responded, mostly out of revenge to make her understand how it feels and try to get some control back.. knowing her I prob won't get another text for a while. my question is do I continue to ignore her. I feel like I'm always the one to give in, so its hard.

My guy does this all the time to me and I know exactly how you feel :( we actually had a fight over it once, and it ended with him saying he didn;t want to talk to me when I was upset, and I got angry because he was just using that as another excuse not to talk to me, so I said 'fine if you don't want to talk to me, then why are you even with me' and then I ignore him for a week and a half even though he sent me an email apologising for being such a jerk. I ignored his email because I do the same thing as you, its so hard not to give in and I used to always give in, but the more you keep giving in the more they will keep walking all over you. You have to be strong. When I finally answered my boyfriend he said that he had been really upset the last few days and he felt really bad and apologetic and he tries a lot harder these days.

Like I said, don't keep giving in because she will keep doing it over and over again and its something you never get used to.

I think the most important thing here is who text's who first. If she is texting you first then you are doing good cause that means she thought of you, and decided she wanted to talk to you.

I get the whole "not responding back" thing, it does suck. But since you are saying goodnight, she probably figures there's no point saying anything back. I had a girl never respond like that, and she got progressively worse about it, obviously I ended that.

It's your choice either way. Sounds like this stuff stresses you, so you might want to nip it in the butt.

Shes the one to text me first, I'm just really getting tired of this game sh*t and have told her before, that I hate when I'm ignored and to just be honest. I don't want to be an ass but I think sometimes that works better.

Sounds like what my ex is doing...he'll randomly text me at the most random moments and I'll say something back and he won't reply, he really frustrated me and this was after we broke up, I don't understand why he's still texting me and calling me and only talking about things that upset me. I wouldn't talk to her anymore and just wait for her to ask why you aren't answering and tell her what your thinking and try to tell her either in person or through a conversation on the phone, no texts.

ya I know what you mean but you should text her back now since uve gotten your revenge and let her stir for awhile, now by not replying to her she can throw that up to you in the future!

Sounds like you both are being immature and playing games with one another. Maybe you need to put her on the spot and ask what's going on. She might just be playing hard to get.

omg.. you need to stop playing those games.. and stop acting clingy or smothering her. If you keep being this way you're just going to end up scaring her away because she'll think your too clingy or controlling. You're not even together yet and you're already on her tough.. I say just relax.. and don't sweat it.. let her come to you.. stop chasing her down..
