Why would she ignore some of my texts?

I'll keep the details to a minimum, but we've gone out on dates and she seems to really like me. So much that she gets nervous if we get physical, so we're taking things slow and at her pace.

I'd send her a flirty, sweet text and she won't respond to it sometimes. Why would a girl do that to a guy that she likes? It feels really bad when I send her something that makes her feel good and make her realize I've been thinking about her, and she doesn't even take a minute to respond. It's not like I do it all the time, I send a random sweet text maybe twice a week or so..

I would say she is just a conservative girl, but since she doesn't answer your texts, that propbably just means she just isn't into you that much. If a girl is totally diggin a dude, she'll do anything to be with him on all levels. BUt if she isn't compleylty infatuaed with him, she WONT sleep with him and when he sends her nice texts, she might be getting feelings of "oh god, he is textn me again." She doesn't want to be mean to you so she stays courtious hoping you will move on. You should drop her now...and if she shows she's is hurting and wants you back, make her say it. But if you decide to keep trying, then if she continues to ignore you sometimes, soon, she will just cut you right off. You can try talking to her, but she sounds like a fake person who is just "acting" nice to get whatever she can out of you while keeping her eyes open. Good luck

She would have to be a horrible person to do such a thing. When we do go out on dates we hold hands (fingers interlocked) and we snuggle, cuddle, play footsie, we haven't kissed yet..she seems to be having a hard time letting me in...

But yea, she would have to be a horrible, cruel person to lead me on like that when she doesn't care about me. It bothers me because she can be that nice person who goes out with me, and then ignore texts and not put effort in communicating with me. (I initiate)

I agree, and my heart is sinking right now. believe it or not, there are some HORRIBLE people and its the worst thing EVER!

I JUST got payed by a guy. 7 months! didn't suspect SHIT! he texted or called me EVERYDAY! when we were together, he'd snuggle, hold hands, kiss me, touch me, love me! Tell me what I wanted to hear. TOOK ME AROUND HIS FRIENDS! but, guess what...he had a MAIN CHICK the whole time. He was just using me! People are cruel sometimes

b61983's answer was pretty extreme lol. perhaps your girl thinks your texts are sweet and make her happy, but that you don't expect a text back. that's giving her the benefit of the doubt, and may be the other extreme. I think its a little weird too tho. I would say you should bring it up casually or jokingly in conversation.
