Can you taste the difference between coke and diet coke?

Quite honestly, no, because they both kinda taste like liquid Scheiße to me. One sip of em makes me want to instantly spit it out 😅. The only soda that I can tolerate is Sprite, really. All the others taste bad to me. I'm much more of a water guy in that regard.

But I know there is definitely a different taste between them. At my part time job, I have to fill up a million cokes/diet cokes a day, and peeps will definitely let ya know if you done goofed on their drink. One person I know who is a regular can actually tell whether the coke was filled up on the right side of the soft drink machine or the left.

My family also buys (or used to buy) exorbitant amounts of diet coke, and they couldn't stand the flavor of regular coke, but they really liked diet coke. So based off that, I'm assuming they tasted quite a clear difference.

Diet joke seems to have a little bit sour aroma. Anyway I don't like cola and the normal cola has waaay too much sugar in it.

Diet Coke sucks. The after taste, the smell, etc just puts me off. The Coke is way more better smelling & better tasting as well.

I don't enjoy either but diet coke has a more defined taste, I don't know how to explain it but it's not enjoyable.

Yes, diet has an after taste that I can't get rid of. Coke does not, and coke from Mexico has an even better taste then American coke. McDonald's has decent coke, and they put a lot into making it taste as good as it does. But Mexico still makes the best.

yes! diet coke is actually very addicting and worse for you. I try to avoid soda most times but I usually get diet coke cause coke seems to strong :(

I had a bottle of coke last week, a few days ago I bought a bottle of diet coke and haven't opened it yet but if I do, hopefully it will taste good. Dont think I've ever had diet coke though.
