What's the difference between milkshake, smoothie and slushie?

milkshake: A cold drink made of milk, a sweet flavoring such as fruit or chocolate, and typically ice cream, whisked until it is frothy.
smoothie: A thick, smooth drink of fresh fruit pureed with milk, yogurt, or ice cream
slushie: Frozen uncarbonated beverages are made by freezing a non-carbonated juice or other liquid. Machines for producing these do not require a pressure chamber, and as a result, they are much cheaper and easier to maintain.
The difference between milkshakes and smoothies are that milkshakes usually consist of *only* dairy products (and flavoring), while smoothies are made of both dairy products and real fruit.
Slushies are entirely different because they are essentially frozen soda. They're just made with ice and flavored syrup.
This is the best answer, OP
Milkshakes are ground up ice cream with milk mixed in, smoothies are ground up fruit, and slushies are grinded ice with sweet flavored syrup.
Milkshake and smoothies are softer and slushies are frozen

Milkshake traditionally has malt in it to thicken and give it a strong flavor.
Smoothie is just blended fruit and/or vegetables.
Slushie was invented by 7/11 for their crushed ice drinks that they add artificial flavor too.
