- What is it to you?

At the Chicago restaurant Superdawg, the shakes have, one the side of the cup, a label saying "we give you a straw to prove you can't suck it through", or something along those lines. Needless to say, I took that as a challenge, and lungs like mine (which are pretty impressive for a human) had no trouble doing so.
So while I was going ho say "a drink, because you can eat it through a straw", I'm pretty sure you could eat Jello that way, and I wouldn't call THAT a drink. And now I'm wondering what the border is, and what I could and couldn't eat that way. You may have created a monster here...
Oh fuck what have i done! 😳
What a wonderful out of the box question & stars to you my friend for asking it. As for me I like to ponder things from time to time & as for this one I think I kind of have an answer so I’ll share my thoughts.
Your Question: Are slushies a food or drink?
My Answer: I say it depends.
If you use a straw it’s a drink & if you use a spoon or a fork or a spork I say it’s food.
Ponder this my friend. Is Cereal Soup?
Drink. It is syrup and ice. Syrup is a liquid and therefore a drink. If you add ice to a drink it is still considered a drink even if you over do it with the ice.
DRINK Slushhhie... slushie..
