Has the slurpee flavor and texture changed over the years?

It seems now it tastes too foamy.
In the 90s it was more ice and flavorful.

I am still pretty young but even the years I have been alive I feel like it changed. When I was young, it actually tasted like ice and had a lot of flavor throughout the whole thing, now I feel like it is foamy and not so savory

All food has lost some/lot of its original taste, its because of critics and saving money. The taste was so much better in 85 percent of the cases.
