For me I personally think they do not. And if they do, it's very rare. They're just for decoration anyway so like I care.

They do but if I’m mistaken and it’s not really sweet it’s bitter. It also depends on the sprinkle type. Sugar sprinkles clearly and distinctively taste sweet. The ones on ice creams and solid in appearance may be sweet outwardly but within are slightly bitter. I haven’t chewed one in a long time that was solid. Also when they’re accompanied by an actual sweet it’s hard to tell if they’re sweet themselves.

They do, but it's not a flavour I particularly like or really gravitate toward. They just kind of have a generic sweet flavour, and sometimes they can even be slightly bitter. Besides, they're made with tons of food colouring, which I can do without. I might eat a donut with sprinkles if it was the last one in a box or something, but I'd never choose to buy something with sprinkles on it.

I guess that's why I've never requested sprinkles on ice cream since I was in single digits, probably because they add nothing to the flavor party, however, I'm guessing they are sugar based, but it has been decades since I've tasted them.

Depends on the type of sprinkle, the ones you have depicted have a chocolatey flavor. The translucent ones have a sugary flavor.
