I personally prefer pee-soaked gerbil cage flavour myself.
But seriously, I have never tasted any chip, except for salt & vinegar or perhaps dill pickle, that actually tastes like the flavour says.
I have never tried meat-flavoured chips (the idea never appealed to me), but the only flavoured chip I buy on occasion are ones called "all dressed", which are a Canadian creation, and are only offered here in Canada, as far as I know. As the name implies, it's basically a mix of several flavours such as: ketchup (another Canadian favourite lol), barbecue, sour cream & onion, and salt & vinegar. They're a little salty, a little smokey, and savoury with a hint of sweetness. I prefer them over other flavours.
No but that's why they taste nice in the first place. I hate bacon but loves bacon crisps. I hate barbeque but love barbeque crisps. Prawn Cocktail? I can happily say I've never had a prawn but had many of these.
The ones I've had, like pizza for example, has that hint of flavor that kind of tastes like a pizza. But ones I eat are sour cream & onion, cheddar & sour cream, ketchup, salt & vinegar.
I hate walkers and sensations. I feel like UK is deprived of the quality stuff 🤣 they donβt taste good like their American counterparts

I don't believe in any flavors that didn't already exist in the 1980s. This trend of making 70 different variations of every item is stupid in my opinion. I don't need bitter root and penguin-flavored potato chips, for f's sake.
Wet dog , yeah , kinda like when Adidas first bought out men's perfume..
What does it smell like? A sweaty shoe , was my first thought..
So happy I don't eat Chips at all , Wet dog - Yuk.
People are addicted to tasteless, bland foods. That is how McDonald's become so popular. The packaging probably has more taste than the food.
Here in South Africa there's a company called Messaris that does a lamb flavour that actually tastes like lamb because the crisps are cooked in rendered lamb fat with herbs etc.
Walkers/Lays not so much
No matter what the flavor is labeled on the bag, they all taste pretty much the same.
It is pretty shocking what chemicals can do to make things taste like other things
lol Wet Dog. If I am ever down, I just come on here and find one of you questions and get cheered up quickly.
Maybe salt and vinegar do. Otherwise, rarely do crisps / chips (as called in USA) taste as advertised.
From what I've found, not really. If, however, you chose to get something else on thenm, like pepper, you can taste and see the pepper.
Well Walkers now do Christmas pudding flavour crisps,
Not always. But it still tastes good so I ignore it.
Some do others not so much.
