Ever since The Boondocks made that joke about white people and cheese, I've been dying. And that was a long time ago. Is there any truth to it? I know I'm white and I love cheese.

Well I live in the Netherlands (and am Dutch).. which is pretty much chees walhalla. If we're going to stereotype: yes I am white. I don't love cheese... I actually hate it. The only cheese I find... slightly tasty is melted old cheese. Any other cheese just makes me wanna puke. Mozerella is fine... only if it's melted. I just dislike 'real cheese' (I don't consider melted cheese real cheese).

Anyways: no not all white folks love cheese xd (at least I don't).

Anybody who doesn't like cheese is not normal, unless you'r lactose intolerant that fine but if you tell me you don't like cheese, i don't know if we can even socialize with one another. I'm not white, but I do have majority white friends who are so obsessed with cheese that I see posts about cheese, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, and any other cheese related item that I see a post about it like every fucking hour. That nonsense needs to stop. Not everything in life is about cheese. Is cheese good on certain things? Yes. Does it need to constantly be talked about? No.

Now, I'm guessing the reason behind it has to do with lactose... Europeans were forced to drink cow milk as a means of sustenance for nutrition, and those who with lactose intolerance died out... but those with a gene that allowed for dairy consumption passed their genes on. And so, we live in a society where most white people are lactose tolerant, but very few others are.

False for several reasons.

1) cheese does not contain lactose.

2) whites are not the only ones with lactose tolerance. People from all over India, Arabia, and Africa also have the mutation in large amounts.

@Omega_brie Many cheeses do contain lactose, there are only select few that are entirely devoid - however, I will agree that they appear in lower traces than in milk. Also, just as DonkeyRick stated, this was a result of interracial breeding.
