I have to agree with @Lea96, dear @cupidkisses :-)

In my opinion, healthy food in some countries is getting more expensive, so people have to eat less expensive fast food. it has catastrophic effect on health in general.

Personally, I try to cook everyday and leave the fast food in case am going out and the people am with decide for local fast food restaurants ;-)

It also has a bad effect on restaurants with traditional local cuisines, as per they are really less expensive, and that is a shame!!!

Yeah, healthy food is expensive even it costs less (talking about my country). Fast food hasn't changed much here.

Well I feel like the industry is making it intentionally affect countries, most of them, just to move the market towards other things, like Gym equipment and other product to lose weight.
Maybe it is just me, but it is certainly having side effect on other segments of the market too like non bio vegetables that are less expensive than real good healthy vegetables.

U. S. - Burger Kings onion rings are gross now. Wendy's fries now taste like cardboard. The big Mac got smaller. Long John Silvers got disgusting. Taco Bells chalupa tastes like chemical burns, back then it was airy and delicious. Lastly, KFC is now absolutely horrible, unless you go at lunch, then it's fresh.

American companies started popping up everywhere and Indian curries became a thing. Chicken Tika Masala was the national dish in England at one stage, it might still be.

It's become subpar. Used to be you order a burger and get a meat patty. Now it's this thin pressed freeze dried partial meat product, chicken nuggets are made from pink meat, fries taste like crap since they don't use quality oil anymore, the woman behind the counter hates her job and subsequently the customers, play places or kids toys are gone, no more rollerskating servers, breakfast is made from cardboard.

We now have a proliferation of American fast food outlets which, generally speaking, are crap.

I prefer proper food cooked by a proper chef but my little one likes McDonald's, Burger King and KFC so am I compelled to eat it too

Extra large pizzas aren't "large" anymore. Almost everywhere you go, you have to order stadium size just to adequately feed yourself, your family, and a group of friends during a decent paperview event. The same with Chinese food.

In my country we love classic fast food, even mc Donald's failed and close 2 times, now he invest for the third time probably another one fail.
