Would you consider tamales + ranch dressing an odd combination?
Plus
I love Tamales. I always put hot sauce on them or just eat them without it. Never had it with ranch but I would also try it. Just because I'm always curious to try something. My friends dared me to dip my fry in my shake and to make sure A lot of it is on the fry. I did it and it wasn't even nasty. So I can see myself trying that.
Are you referring to the infamous Wendy's frosty and french fry combo?
*famous
not infamous
Not really, but I've also dipped everything in ranch at least once myself. If it tastes good, that's all that matters.
I’m uhh just speaking on behalf of a friend— yeah.
But I— err, he, puts ranch, barbecue sauce, or sweet and sour with just about anything lol
Oooh that sounds interesting. One of my friend’s go-to easy meals are mac and cheese, barbecue sauce, and whatever meat (sausage, chicken, ground beef, etc.) is lying around the house. Uhh he doesn’t think it’s weird, but his family does.
Hmmmmmmm. Sounds like a new combination I have to try. I've tried Honey mustard with soy sauce on rice, blue cheese on hotdogs, ranch on Pizza, but never Ranch on Tamales. It sounds interesting. And I want to try it now.
Ranch on pizza isn’t even a weird combo.
My family thinks it is. Maybe they're the weird ones.
Bleu cheese disgusts me, but ranch on pizza is like my go to thing!
Yes that sounds gross but I have been fooled before!
My uhh friend says it’s since ranch + beans go well together, so ranch and tamales aren’t too far off.
Some foods are just not meant to be violated LOL. I say to each their own.

you and my brother would get along with food... weird combinations
What are some weird things he has tried together?
I remember him and my sister loved hot dogs in mac and cheese... he would put ketchup all for it and it grossed me out... he has done a lot of weird combos
I never tried the combo but sounds better to me than french fries and ranch. I am a bit of a blasphemer but I never understood the appeal of that combo over ketchup and fries.
NO i eat Hot cheetos with chamoye & Cottage Cheese it's very good you should try it if you haven't already
That’s an interesting combo :O
Unfortunately, I’m about as stereotypically caucasian as you can get, and my resistance to spice is straight up pathetic. Hot cheetos are super spicy to me 😂. Taco bell sauce packs heat to me.
Kind of, but I'm far from an expert on Mexican food.
Depends on what's in it. Some have meat that are seasoned with spices and the ranch helps balance the flavors. just like how you would use ranch with wings.
I wouldn't consider it wired because Ranch can also be a dipping sauce.
Not too, I prefer them with hot sauce but I can see that. At least in the US.
I've found that ranch works with several things that I wouldn't think it would: I'd give it a shot.
Yes I love and I can't stand the taste of ranch dressing.
I wouldn't consider them a combination.
When you say a combination, do you mean as in a weird combination, or a good combination?
A non combination.
When I was younger I used to mash lima beans, add chopped jalapenos, and then use it as sandwich filling. As long as you like it no other opinion matters.
Oooh I have not tried either of these things but they sound great together! Haha
I HATE both... I comsider them a death sentence.
You don't like ranch dressing? :O
Is it a thing against sauces in general, or is it specifically ranch that you don't like?
I HATE Ranch.
I've never actually seen a tamale
I suppose then, would you consider ranch dressing and Mexican food in general a good combination or bad?
Ranch dressing in general is just nasty.
Sounds very Southwestern
No. I use ranch with lots of Mexican stuff tbh.
Tbh... no. I would try it. I love ranch.
Whatever floats your boat, as Pennywise would say
OMG I SHOULD TRY THAT WTF
