Up to about 10,000 Scovilles.
If the Congress wanted to do something useful for a change, it would pass a law requireing Scoville ratings on any "spicy" foods.
bell peppers = 0 Scovilles
Poblano pepper = 1,000 Scovilles
Jalapeno = 10,000 to 15,000
Habanero = 100,000 to 300,000
Bhut jolokia = 1,000,000
Carolina Reaper = 2,200,000
Military grade pepper spray = 5,000,000
Pure capsaicin = 16,000,000
(the stuff that makes peppers spicy)
I hate spicy food and I don't understand why other people like it.
It burns my mouth and takes away the taste of the food! It hurts when I eat, it hurts when it's in my stomach and it hurts when I go to toilet...
Maybe I'm just mildly allergic, who knows...
Not extremely spicy food. It wasn't uncommon to eat a light curry... But I guess not really. I mostly grew up mostly Italian food.
Ma's bolognese, or homemade ham and cheese bread rolls, rice and chicken with white wine garlic sauce, lasagna, cannelloni, hot dogs, burgers, omelettes, pizza, Chinese food and Japanese curry katsu, occasional chicken masala.
I love spicy and I literally cannot eat a sandwich without adding some spicy sauce but not spicy at the point where you can't swallow anything for the next hours. I kind of regret eating too much spicy food since I was 8 years old cause I canāt truly enjoy food cause it destroyed my taste bud
I like spicy but only certain kinds.
Vinegary spicy is off the table and so is Szechuan
Wasabi and peppers similar in flavor to red chiliās are my favorite I find I like spicy more than most Americans
Hunan is one of my favorite food styles.

Medium, if itās too hot, it becomes hard to enjoy the meal. It sucks bc I like heat, but my tongue canāt physically handle it lol
Hahaha fair enough xx
What kind of chili? I usually cook with habaneros. Occasionally I get to use ghost peppers.
Ah I'm not too sure what type I'm growing currently haha! They were some chilis I bought from our local vege shop and the lady told me they were "hot Thai chili", it was so long ago now I think I Google identified them at the time, but can't remember now haha. I also just picked out some seeds from a green chili that I had with dinner tonight, so I'm going to try grow them aswell, fingers crossed! š¶ļø
Yeah I was cooking dinner at mum's tonight and they're not very big on spice so green chili was all they had haha, my sister even said it was too spicy for her! šš I couldn't even taste the spice haha
Yeah haha when I cook for my flat mates I have to separate one of them before adding any chili because he literally can't handle any spice hhaa
I like it hot enough to tickle the tongue and still be able to taste everything.
i said extra spicy only cause i haven't tried something like Carolina reaper level so i mean regardless spicy food is dank as fuck
I tried once in some chicken wings and hoooly fuck šš
dang i gotta try then lmao
When I want something mild I use ghost pepper when I was it hot I use reaper honestly reapers for me is like habaneros for most people
Hot wings blue cheese dressing
Hot salsa on tacos with sour cream black beans
Gratuitous heat without any other complimentary flavor is not my thing. Like who really wants to chomp down on a ghost pepper? More for you.
Nothing like some fresh habanero for chilli or other foods.
Yum yum!
Fresh peppers go in dm near everything around my house. You either eat what's cooked or figure it out for you're self if it's too damn hot.
None is option? 🤷🏻āāļø😬🙈 I donāt like spicy. Sorry.
Mild is none š
Ah got it. Thank you š
Like Shia lebuff.. I might like the dude, but the man can handle some scovilles!
I like my food spicy, but not so spicy that I can't taste the flavor
I like medium. I donāt really like spicy food that much.
No spice or mild spice. I don't like that burning feeling from spicy food.
anything more then - mild - causes me bad heart burn
Pepper is too spicy for me. I dont like anything spicy
Let's just say..
I add additional spices to the spicy authentic Indian food that's cooked at my home..
Spicy to very spicy. Some foods I prefer normal, but yeah, I looooove hot foods
Mild to medium I find a lot of peppers to be too hot. I love a good bowl of chilli too now in addition to classic ingredients in Minnesota and Wisconsin we put finely chopped celery in chilli
Despite my origin and culture... I despise spicy food. Keep it mild, and I'm okay.
Medium. Itās hard for me to take anything more than that
