What is the difference between chicken tenders and chicken strips?

A chicken tender is the chicken tender loin which is a whole, sweet, very tender muscle tucked in between the breast bone and the chicken breast. Chicken strips could be any random pieces of chicken meat cut into strips, but most likely from the chicken breast which is not as tender or tasty as the tenderloin or otherwise known as chicken tenders.

My guess: chicken strips are actual strips of chicken meat. Chicken tenders are scraps that were gathered and pressed together.

They are both covered in breading and then fried. Bleah.

Tenders are made from tenderloins. Tenderloins are the prime part of a chicken breast. It’s the best meat on a chicken. Strips are just random parts that are cut into strips.
