Iโm not Mexican but I love spicy to a point that I canโt eat a tacos or any kind of sandwich without adding a hot spicy sauce 😋. Seriously tho 😂 I wonder how can people eat their meals without adding any spices, cause i once ate a sandwich without it and it felt like I was chewing a paper. I donโt recommend eating it too much tho, This addiction started when I was 7 years old, and now I kind of destroyed my taste buds 😔.
My girl!! Same here with the taste buds!! ๐๐
I love spicy food too and I'm not even a mexican. It adds an extra flavor to your food.
Agree. I be telling my grandma to add spice to the food when she cooks but she doesn't like doing it. ๐
Maybe she never had the habit to add spices to her food. I've realized it's easier to start eating spicy food at a young age then as an adult.
Perhaps.
The ingredients found in Latin American cuisine is what was available in their area. Things like hot peppers were available in the areas their ancestors populated. Easy to grow, easy to find, so they cooked with them. Same can be said in Asian and Indian nations. Their ancestors had spices and peppers at their disposal.
I don't know man, its our culture haha.
I was a small kid proving my manhood by eating peppers and adding some spicy ass salsa to everything.
Its really bad long term, causes stomach problems. Your mom is low key right, we need to tone it down

I guess there were a lot of peppers in Mexico back in the day so that is what they used.
Although not all Latin countries have an affinity for spicy food - I have tried some Puerto Rican , Brazilian , Argentine , and Colombian dishes. They were all great dishes but not hot spicy.
Also , there are other countries like India and some African cultures that also like their food spicy.
I don't know... It's just part of their culture and their food
It gives it that flavorful pop to the food. For me, the hotter the better!
Because we like things Spicy. We don't like bland food.
Spicy food makes people sweat so heat gets out of the body.
Eating spicy food helps with the heat because it makes you sweat. Mexico is hot. It doesnโt take a genius to figure that out.
That's what they grew up with?
I think most Latin people love spicy food
I love spicy food too. But Mexicans take the cake. My sister came back from Mexico and she brought candy and the damn was spicy too. My grandma was like wth... too funny. Lol
*damn candy
The candy had some pepper in it. I didn't taste it though. Freaking crazy. ๐๐
