In general, yes!

In fact, 1 of my childhood favorites a type of egg-drop soup with chicken & corn, with a nice, big helping of rice!

What soup is that?

  I use a different system, where I generally read all the replies in a post and…
  • upvote those I agree-with (as well as those I disagree-with with valid points and actually taught me something),
  • fail to to upvote those who I disagree-with whose arguments are weak or disprovable (as well as those I agree-with whose points are weak or include stuff I also disagree with), and
  • downvote those who post something heinously grievous but somehow not against G@G-policies.
  
  The latter, I've done only a handful of times since I joined in 2015. I'm not sure that it fits the latter's criteria, but my lack of upvote is already a protest in by my system.

  @VIVANT I totally agree with you. Though it's better if you boil it out as water vapor. That way you retain all of the nutrients.
