How often do you eat it? Do you like it plain? Fried?

+1 yI like it. I'm not about to keel over if I don't get some every day, but I use it in our meals.
I will add some powdered chicken or beef broth to get the flavor steered in the right direction, and then add onion, diced veggies, soy, cinnamon, ginger, etc. depending on the flavor profile I seek, typically Asian or Mexican.
The thing about rice (and corn, too) - especially important in vegetarian diets if you are into that type of stuff, is that rice and corn are complementary with beans and legumes to provide complete essential protein.
The human body needs 20 amino acids- in total- to manufacture protein molecules. Our body can manufacture 11 of the 20 all by itself, so we don’t need to worry about getting them from our diet. These are called nonessential amino acids. The other nine — the so-called essential amino acids — we must get through food, preferably, or through careful supplementation.
Anyway, the bean/lentil (also called pulses) food choices provide one group of amino acids, yet are deficient of methionine and some other AA's. Grains- and botanic grasses usually considered "grains" (such as oats)- supply the missing or deficient "essential" amino acids. With all essential aminos- plus the aminos which the body can synthesize- the body is now able to create protein for body strength, growth, and tissue repair.
So, the next time you go to a church picnic and see the infamous Black Bean and Corn Salad, eat up and be thankful that someone made a dish with complete amino acids/ complete protein!

I like it with flavorful foods as it pretty much has no taste and lets the flavors come out.

+1 yI like it any way, plain and fried. I would even love my grandma's sticky rice bowl for lunch! Rice is basically my life. We eat it on a regular basis here in East India. You'll find paddy fields more here compared to anything else. I can't imagine not eating rice for more than 4 days. I even love chewy rice cakes.

Love rice! It's a regular staple food in my home. You can do practically anything with it. I enjoy it plain, egg fried, seasoned up with some meat and veggies, with curry, risotto, tagine, or even sticky and sweet as a dessert. There's so many varieties and recipie options!
What's not to like really? 😋

+1 yNo, not really. Poverty's forced me to eat way, WAY too much of the stuff to ever really enjoy it; my threshold for when I've achieved success in life is "Never having to eat rice again".
Mind you, that's not the same as "never eating rice again"; there ARE things it pairs well with. I'm just sick of it in a deep and prolonged way.
