Several years ago, presumably on the off-chance that I wind up in an area with no Italians and thus become skinny, my mother gave me a popcorn pot. And let me tell you: once you've had the real stuff, you'll never be able to bring yourself to go back to the microwaved kind. Variety in oils, kernel types, and salts makes it a fascinating world of exploration.

Some of my regular healthy go to's are:

Hummus and Veggies
Nori/Seaweed
Smoked Almonds
Apples and Almond Butter
Cucumbers/Fruits with Lemon Juice and Chili Powder
Fruits w/ Tajin and/or Chamoy
Jicama slices with [insert sauce here]
Avocado Toast on Low Carb Bread
Avocado by the spoonful with Soy Sauce and Sriracha (trust me on this one!)
Edamame Beans, steamed or tossed with garlic and soy sauce
Rice Crackers w/ anything Peanut Butter & Sriracha

I chose other because I couldnechoose between popcorn and chips. What I used to do was mix popcorn with All dressed chips. I would crumble Ruffles all dressed onto my popcorn. It was my fave snack.

I've recently grown very fond of sun dried tomato and roasted red pepper hummus with lime potato chips, pita bread, and various cheese sticks. I also love white cheddar popcorn, but it always gets stuck in my teeth, so I don't eat it that often.

Popcorn in that list (no butter/oil, only salt and maybe some spices). Also not on the list but my absolute favorite is jerky (beef, turkey, squid, etc).

Cinema popcorn to be specific. I rarely get a chance to get some of those specially if they're fresh because I'm not really a movie watcher and microwave/packaged popcorn is nothing compared.
