My mom learned to make apple chips this week. You cut them and core them. Then you wash them in salt water and put them on an electronic drying rack for 7-9 hours of dried heating. And voila, delicious and addictive apple chips! One weird food item I like is jumbo tofu and edamame dumplings with mushrooms and carrots inside. It tastes amazing but requires string to hold the dumplings together and you have to use jumbo sized edible square dumpling wrapper when making them. The small edible wrappers don’t work.

Well this sounds weird but I have had black coffee with my eggs many times and I always put hot sauce on my eggs so sometimes I taste the hot sauce when I drink my black coffee and I like the taste so I been thinking about dropping some hot sauce in the coffee sometime but worried it might not come out too good because the way I tasted it before was after I ate the hot sauce not at the same time.

So I do have one, at least from what people have told me, but was a part of my family's German culture apparently.

Dipping toast with cinnamon sugar into coffee. Never thought it was odd, tasted delicious, always a bit of a challenge to eat the toast before it falls into the coffee from soaking too long.

Also FYI, I don't know for sure if it was a German custom at one time or something, but was told many great relatives from the German side used to do it. (Grandpa's dad, his grandfather.. etc.. what they remembered growing up)

I still drive by it and remember how awesome it was. They had car hops on roller skates in the summer and all the local gear heads would bring their muscle cars on Saturday night.
