Which British pancakes are the best?

There's the thin crepe style English version, thicker smaller Scottish ones and fluffy welsh ones. All are good but which is king?

Scottish pancakes are similar to American but sweeter and don't contain fat in the batter. Welsh ones (crempog) are made with buttermilk. English ones are pretty much the same as French.

I prefer the English ones, however being in Northumberland, it’s a lucky dip as to what you will get.

For Shrove Tide at Alnwick it’s usually English with sugar n lemon.

got a bit closer to the border and they are Drop scones, Griddle cakes (Scot’s pancakes).

What’s in English pancakes? My friends mom used to make ones that look like those. She would dump cinnamon and sugar in it then roll it up like that.

I never had any of the above even though Scottish pancakes look the same as American. I like American blueberry pancakes
