It depends what I'm having with it. If I'm having a steak, I'll probably opt for potatoes. If I'm having baby back ribs or some other sort of BBQ, probably mac and cheese.

strangely I was never a fan of either. I could totally skip these sides. If I Must I'd opt for the mashed potatoes but id' get like half of a spoon. it's ok. Mac n cheese is usually always bad , but it really depends on the cheese. Anyway I'm happy I don't like these dishes.

I chose neither because I'm not a fan of either, but if I had to choose I'd say mashed potatoes, since it can occasionally be fairly decent (in my opinion) as long as it's paired with a good gravy.
