It is time to settle the age-old question: In a fight between French bread and Italian bread, which would win?

If I ever became fabulously wealthy, I'll commission a baker to make three loaves of each and hire six fencers in the off-season to duke it out (does fencing have seasons?), but until that day, I leave it up to you good people.

I prefer french bread because french wheat dough contains 50% of at least 12 hours cold per-fermented dough. However I eat mostly breads made on rye sour dough and spelt.

but I have to go with good Italian bread.
I married an Italian.
my brother in law is French … they will most likely never get into fencing. But they are competing in other skills. And I have to be on my man’s side while my sister on her man’s side. Glad we are working out well as a family and enjoy both kind of bread.
