Seriously in Italy there is only one type of crust, and guess we would call it thin crust in the United States, but honestly its the original crust make in the traditional way. Every pizza in Italy is baked in a real wood burning stove, and it never comes in contact with pan. Its hand made right in front of you in most places. As far as the rest, Pan, Stuffed, NY, Chicago style it all depends on where your and what you like I guess.

But original crust is my favorite, but original is not pan crust.

Pan or Deep Dish is my preferred. I like the dough/crust when it's done right. Thin crust just never hits the spot, almost always leaving me hungry and wanting more to eat. Best I ever had was a sweet potato dough in a pan pizza, was great especially with a little honey.

Pan crust is the easiest to get right. But I'll absolutely go for a great thin crust as well. It's just that most places can do a good pan crust, while they have to be pretty good to make a good thin crust.

Also, deep dish for sure if it's an option

99% of the time thin but there is one place in our area that has a thick crust but because of their sauce and cheese recipe and the way that they fire roast it, it is to die for!

I like thin hand tossed crispy crust so you can fold the pizza & doesn’t flop & I like real pizza & none of this conveyor belt bullshit that comes from a fast food chain.
