I actually luvs me some good pizza every once in a while. We're lucky to have a fantastic place nearby, but we only go there are few times a year.

There is a place in the city here, where I can order a pizza without the crust... so pizza toppings in a bowl to have less carbs.

OMG. 🤣 You sound like my wife. The tomato sauce is too acidic for her and she doesn't like the carbs in the crust. It's like saying "I love pizza except for the sauce and the crust." LOL

She'll often get something like chicken, veggies and white sauce on thin crust.

@TrueConfection. My wife does the same thing, and uses some kind of thin crust made of cauliflower or something. She does use good quality olive oil, though.

I don't like those so-called pizzas much, although I like pesto and veggies just fine. But give me good ol' pepperoni and chopped garlic on regular crust.

My wife LOVES olives, especially kalamatas.

My confession is, there is nothing that tastes worse to me than olives. They look so good. Every once in a while, I'll be tempted to see if my taste buds have matured. Nope. OMG, horrible, horrible!

What's weird is, I love olive oil. I even love puttanesca sauce. Go figure.

Funny story. When my wife and I started dating and she invited me to her place for the first time, she made a special meal. She shopped for the best ingredients for a spaghetti sauce. That included big, fat kalamata olives.
I looked in the pan, saw the olives, and said "Eew, poison" because it was an inside joke between my sister and me. Well, my (future) wife was horrified. I realized what I had done and explained. What a dumb ass.
Well, she obviously didn't kick me out dump me. 🤣🤣🤣
