It has caribou and beaver meat, and is politely drizzled with maple syrup. 😋 But seriously (lol), in addition to mozzarella, a "Canadian" pizza typically has bacon, ham and "Canadian bacon" on it (we call it "peameal" bacon here in Canada... don't ask lol). It's also common to have pepperoni and/or onion on it too. Although, it seems to vary, depending on who you get if from. I have even seen places make a "poutine" pizza - topped with french fries, cheese curds and gravy 😨 - and call it a "Canadian" pizza. lol But generally, I consider a Canadian pizza to have bacon, ham and "Canadian bacon"/peameal on it. 🙂

The funny thing is that "Hawaiian" pizza is actually a Canadian invention! So, technically, that should be a "Canadian" pizza... even though we can't grow pineapples up here. lol
