Can I cook cookies with the toast function in a toaster oven?

My bake function mysteriously stopped working..

On a toaster oven if it has a BAKE setting that would work however the TOAST setting would only keep the toaster on for a few minutes.

Probably not because most times you can't regulate the temperature of most toast/broil settings and it's usually too hot for baking.

If you wrap them in grease proof paper you might get a chance, else they just make a mess
