I only ever drink sugar free coca cola. if I'm drinking a pre mixed alcoholic beverage I go for the zero sugar/ low calorie ones. The only carbonated drink I don't typically go zero sugar on is energy drinks, I'm quite fond of a good energy drink every now and then but I have not found one that I like that is zero sugar. They all have a weird after taste for me.
+1 yI do not really drink soft drinks
but yeah I tend to go sugar free
juices you add water to are all sugar free
I have never taken sugar in coffee etc either
also other than cocktails, I do not have anything (other than Tonic) with alcohol m whisky etc

Absolutely. But apparently I have unpopular tastes because it's getting hard af to find drinks for me. My Honest Iced Teas and Pure Leaf unsweetened are gone.
I never drink sodas, never have. Don't like fruit juices unless they're fresh squeezed, not from concentrate. I don't drink artificial sweeteners. They taste very sweet, get the body hooked on that intensity, and some are even worse for the body than sugar cane.

+1 yNEVER!! Not only do they actually MAKE YOU fat, they have aspartame in them!! I forget the entire process but, when you drink that, your body doesn't know what to do with it and turns it into formaldehyde! You're body can't get rid of that!! So, basically, you're embalming yourself!!

+1 yno, nasty stuff and who knows what those chemicals are and what they do to us.
I had the "real Coke" with like...30 tsp sugar when was young, but that wasn't even real stuff... they took the coca leaf out of it long ago.
My advice is go to south america, make some coca leaf tea without sugar, and drink that. it's illegal to bring to the USA, but you can try smuggling it if you dare. Natural and healthy. nothing wrong with that plant and you'll feel good drinking it.
I wouldn't touch that junk you are talking about... you poor kids were marketed poison because it's a free country. Caveat Emptor.
00 Reply 704 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Given the anecdotal evidence of endocrine system cancers shows the industrial West - where artificial sweeteners are increasingly replacing natural substances like sugar and honey - spiking massively compared to figures of the same cancers in communist and Third World nations, I do everything humanly possible to avoid any ingredient using the word "artificial" or "non-nutritive".
So I take unrefined sugar in tea or honey in lemon tea and avoid colas and carbonated drinks since the various sugar taxes were introduced a few years ago.
If they start taxing sugar and honey I'll invest in a few hives and harvest my own.00 ReplyI usually drink water, that’s sugar free 😂
Sometimes (once every two weeks) I drink Chinotto, but it has sugar added. Usually I don’t take any drink out of water or beer, especially sugar free ones since they have aspartame and sweeteners that damage our body more than augar.00 Reply- 3.2K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic.
u +1 yI only drink Coca~Cola... but for some reason the diet and zero sugar versions make my stomach upset so avoid them, I'm not fond of the different taste either
so I just keep it to the classic and regular sugar cane Coca~Cola14 Reply- +1 y
Coca-cola did well in their sugar free drinks. There's no difference in taste. Other companies need to follow
- +1 y
I am fussy AF... so I can definitely taste a difference between each, lol
perhaps for casual drinkers is not a significant one
or, I might be biased as well... I just see a different label and start complaining, lmao (which I do) - +1 y
They've done tests it's all in your head it's impossible to taste the difference. I even tested it myself
- +1 y
that's good marketing...

+1 yNot at all. Those sweeteners are worse for you than real sugar. The key is moderation.
An excellent alcoholic beverage is half Firefly sweet tea vodka and half lemon lime PediaLyte. Over ice or in a blender with ice like a slush. It might sound crazy, but it'll knock you on your ass, it doesn't even taste like alcohol (even though it's literally half alcohol), you get electrolytes while you're drinking, no dehydration, and no hangover the next day.

I also drink my coffee straight black with no sugar or sweeteners, and with a green tea bag. Antioxidants! 👍
Yeah. I drink tea without sugar, I drink coffee without sugar. When I say coffee, I don't mean instant coffee. Do you really believe it's sugar-free coke? Don't you know how sugar-free cola drinks actually contain? All ready-to-drink beverages contain sugar. The fact that it says sugar free on the label is a complete lie.
04 Reply- +1 y
Uh it's not a lie there is no sugar in it. It's artificial sweeteners
- +1 y
Good think I don't drink it regularly then
+1 yI do, actually. Keeps the high sugar from really messing up your teeth per what my dentist told me. They actually grew on me. Sugar free Monster, Bang, Rockstar

It's not actually the sugar that is the problem it's the acidity from the carbonation. It's why it's recommend to drink through a straw
- +1 y
Thanks, that's what I meant, long day, but you are right. It was the acidity at the end of the day.
+1 yI also only drink sugar free beverages.
Also, it's 2022 FFS, can we really not make an alcohol substitute with no calories that gets you wasted?
